Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

When you register as a member or submit an inquiry, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, city, and professional details (choreography style, awards, work history links).

Payment transactions are processed securely through Razorpay. IFTCA does not store card numbers or banking credentials — only order confirmation and verification status.

When you visit this website, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and analytics purposes.

How We Use Your Information

Member data is used solely to operate the IFTCA portal: managing your profile, processing membership payments, sending administrative communications, and facilitating professional inquiries.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g., total members by city) may be used for internal planning and public reporting.

Data Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Sensitive operations require OTP verification via your registered email.

All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Our API enforces strict CORS and CSRF origin policies.

Access to member data is role-restricted. Only authorised IFTCA staff administrators can view or modify full member records.

Data Retention

Active member profiles are retained for the duration of membership and up to 2 years after lapse, to facilitate renewal.

Deactivated accounts are soft-deleted and excluded from all public views. Hard deletion can be requested by contacting info@iftca.in.

Audit logs are automatically purged after 365 days.

Your Rights & Consent Withdrawal

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, you have the right to access, review, correct, complete, or request erasure of your personal data.

Withdrawal of Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time by emailing info@iftca.in. Please note that withdrawing consent will not affect the legality of processing carried out before withdrawal, but may prevent us from maintaining your active member profile or providing portal access.

All requests will be acknowledged within 5 working days and resolved within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

We use Razorpay for payment processing, Google OAuth for secure login, and Nodemailer (SMTP) for email delivery. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

Embedded YouTube and Instagram content is subject to the respective platforms' privacy policies.
